RWE Supply & Trading re-allocates responsibilities

Markus Krebber is to become Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RWE Supply & Trading and will concurrently be in charge of the trading business on the Executive Board of RWE AG

Due to the reduction of the size of the Executive Board of RWE AG, which consists of the CEO Dr Rolf Martin Schmitz and the CFO Dr Markus Krebber, Krebber will resign as Managing Director of RWE Supply & Trading – a position he has held simultaneously to his office as CFO – as of 31 May 2017. On the Executive Board of RWE AG, he will also be in charge of the trading business, and he is to become Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RWE Supply & Trading, a position he will hold concurrently.

The responsibilities of Markus Krebber on the Board of Directors of RWE Supply & Trading will be distributed among the other managing directors when he fills his new positions. The CFO Michael Müller will take charge of Legal/Compliance as well as Human Resources in addition to his current tasks. Andree Stracke, Chief Commercial Officer Origination & Gas Supply, will also take responsibility for Corporate Affairs. The Board of Directors also includes Peter Krembel (Trading) and Tom Glover (Commercial Asset Optimisation). It will manage the company as a team of equal colleagues.
